Eligibility criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a resident of Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba or Ontario.
• Not be a legal dependant of an SGI, SGI CANADA, or Coachman Insurance employee (legal dependants of employees are eligible for the SGI Anniversary Scholarship only).
• Not be a current employee of SGI, SGI CANADA, or Coachman Insurance, including all full-time, part-time, co-op students/intern, contingent, and summer student employees.
• Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate certificate, diploma, or degree program related to the business needs of SGI CANADA at an accredited post-secondary campus in Canada. We define business needs broadly to include all aspects and departments in the corporation.
• Submit a letter from the Registrar’s Office confirming full-time studies in the fall semester of the current academic year.
• Submit a transcript demonstrating a minimum average of 70% in the last academic year of study.

Selection process

All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be entered into a draw. Winners will be contacted within 30 days of the application deadline. Only the winning applicants will be contacted. Please do not email requesting updates on your submission status.
