The TWU, USW National Local 1944 offers a one-time educational grant consisting of four (4) scholarships valued at $1,000 each and three (3) scholarships valued at $750 each to children of active union members graduating from high school. This scholarship considers leadership values and labour knowledge. Applicants must include a completed application form, an updated transcript and a letter of reference from a teacher or employer. 2. Letter of reference from a teacher or employer. If you are unable to get a letter of reference from a teacher or employer, have
   someone who is not a family member who can attest to your character and work ethic write a letter for
   you.
3. Additional Information  Please do not include additional information. Any additional information (excluding transcripts and letter of reference) will not be considered by the selection committee.
