Children of insurance industry practitioners can give their post-secondary education a leg-up with one of several scholarships available to them. The A.H.B. "Spoon" Wotherspoon Memorial Scholarship is:

A.H.B. "SPOON" WOTHERSPOON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

• Administered by IBABC
• Awarded each spring
• $1,000 for first year of post-secondary education
• Applicants must be employees or relatives of BC insurance industry practitioners
• Applicants must show a commitment to community service
• Preference given to applicants with a connection to an IBABC member.
