Description

The United Croats of Canada, King Tomislav Branch promotes Croatian culture through the Croatian Cultural Centre by supporting activities such as folk dancing, music, song, and Croatian language instruction. To further this mission, the Branch maintains a Scholarship Fund that supports students entering post-secondary education. Scholarships are awarded annually subject to available funds and community donations. Awards are intended to encourage continued engagement with Croatian culture while supporting educational advancement.

Eligibility and Requirements

Eligibility is limited to students who are in grade 12 at the time of application, reside in British Columbia, and have Croatian ancestry, with at least one parent of Croatian ancestry. Successful applicants must demonstrate both academic merit and active involvement in the Croatian community. Selection is based on review of submitted documentation and references. Applicants should ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before applying.
