About Thompson Rivers University
Thompson Rivers University has its main campus in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada and a second campus in Williams Lake. TRU is a unique combination of traditional degree programs, many allowing diploma and certificate program graduates access through laddering, along with flexible degree completion through distance education as the BC Centre for Open Learning.

Cooperative education is taking on new importance in school-to-work transition, service learning, and experiential learning initiatives. Currently, over 400 students participate in the Thompson Rivers University Co-op Programs. Students are available for: four, eight month or 12 month work terms, students work on a full time paid basis. Work terms begin in September, January and May.
